【析形】形声字。古文字形从糸，夸声。从糸，表示与衣物有关。后世写作袴、褲（裤）。
【释义】《说文》：“胫衣也。”本义是裤子。段玉裁注：“今所谓套袴也。左右各一，分衣两胫。”由此可看出，古代的裤子没有裆，只有两个裤筒，各自套在腿上，每个裤筒两侧有绳带，绳带向上系在腰带上。所以汉代以前，裤的量词和鞋、袜一样，都是“两”。[纨绔子弟]纨指细绢，细绢制的裤是古代贵族子弟所服，后因以借指富贵人家子弟，含贬义。
