【析形】形声字。古文字形从食，并声。
【释义】《说文》：“面餈也。”本义是烤熟或蒸熟的面食。古代的饼与后世的不同，是由麦或米捣成粉状，加水团成。麦粉做的叫饼，米粉做的叫粢。后指扁圆形的面制食品，又引申指形状像饼的东西。[画饼充饥]比喻徒有虚名，无补于实用。又用来比喻以空想自慰。
